Visited "THE GOLDEN PAVILION" on 27th April 2008.

This Rokuon-Ji Temple is located in Kyoto.

The building's 1st floor is built like a palace, 2nd floor is "Samurai" house & 3rd floor is "Zen Temple". Both 2nd & 3rd floors are covered with gold-leaf on Japanese lacquer.

It was inscribed as World Cultural Heritage in 1994.
