11th April 2009

Canadian Academy's FOOD & FUN FAIR.

A big surprise to all ... Jeff (the tallest boy) is able to play BASS. He performed with his Grade 6 friends on the opening of the food & fun fair.

We bought 5,000 yen (about S$75) food vouchers to try Thai popiah & fried noodle, Taiwanese radish cake, Philippines bbq chicken stick etc. There were many participating booths offering many tasty treats.

On our way home, we passed by a huge Japanese cat outside the restaurant at Motomachi area. We had a wonderful day!

Thursday, April 9, 2009

Jeff was dressed up "CASUAL SMART" to perform singing at his school concert today, 9th April 2009.
A photo taken for sweet memory as this is his 1st look with neck tie!

PICNIC @ SUMA GARDEN on 7th April 2009

3 "Obasan" were having a great break while enjoying the sakura flowers ... this is Japanese practice during "Hanami".

Before going home, we also visited SUMA SHRINE shortly after our lunch.

The shrine is just like a Japanese garden with nice layout.

The below building was THE FORMER KOBE EMIGRATION CENTER, which has only 1 "sakura tree" and directly opposite our apartment.

Visited SUMAURA (Suma Mountain) on 5th April 2009

We took a big cable car ride to the top, then followed by a short "roller ride" & a long "single ride" to reach the peak, where many people enjoyed the scenery of Kobe.

VIEW SAKURA @ OJI ZOO

The zoo was specially opened on 4th April 2009 nite for visitors to view many types of sakura flowers. They are full bloomed (today) in different sizes and colours. A "must" visit event as it would be over shortly!

1st ICE SKATING - Tim enjoyed with all his Canadian Academy Grade 3 friends. He had so much fun with the girls at the rink.
